II will always cherish my memories of Robert Heinlein. His work kept me sane, thinking, questioning and alive.
When I was a young boy, he had books that streched my imagination. As I grew older, his books forced me to look outside of the stereotypes I had absorbed. - Through it all, his unique blend of humor, horse-sense and inspired deviltry helped me find an even keel in stormy weather. - He was definitely one of the giants of of this century.

Robert Heinlein was perhaps the most influential author of a certain generation - mine!
He questioned and challenged the very mores that ruled my childhood. His works not only tore down existing concepts but delivered a desirable alternative. The world is poorer for his passing..........
He brought the word ‘GROK’ into the English language, and light into many lives.
